Crew,
Marcus, Christine and Andy will be looking to offer a advertised open day similar to last year on the Saturday of the first May Bank Holiday Weekend, in the event of stormy weather it will move to the Sunday and Monday. The leaflet designed by Ron and Cheryl also invites folk to our open Sunday's via the website diary. In addition there are business cards uncoated to add your contact details. Please carry these to invite folk to row. Please find poly wallets in the garage. Steve on behalf of the committee.

If it helps? I notice the Cutters RC web site is still not coming up with a Yahoo web search. I end up in the gig club or the adventure rowers. Alternately various old listing can be found further down the search results. The old Langstone cutters 2 web site has now disappeared and a new Langstone cutters 3 site appears if the number is added to the search. I politely pointed this out last autumn as a possible reason for low Sunday attendances. Action was promised at that time as the then publicity was listing a site that did not exist. I don't know what web address you have used on your publicity but it could be useful to have them the same. Jonathan |
Jonathan,
Thank you We have used www.langstonecutters.com I have just entered same into my browser and it took me to the site ? I appreciate the confusion with the clubs and the Gig club are looking at changing their address/ title to not include cutters so it may all work out soon. However I am not that IT savvy ! I will put this on the agenda for our next meeting in May. Meanwhile please pick up the cards and flyers, the cards are useful when chatting to folk about the club and they are uncoated so you can add your own contact details as appropriate. Hopefully row with you soon. G Cheers

I personally can't see any problems when I google up 'Langstone cutters'.
https://sites.google.com/site/langstonecutters3/home is top of the list. For anyone who appears to be experiencing any problems try 'clearing your cache'. Your searches will then start from scratch and pick up the latest versions of any website you are looking for rather than relying on what is contained in your cache. Ways to delete your cache vary, but click help and see what you get, or google it up.
