Saturday row 28/08 at 11am CANCELLED

This weeks Saturday row will be show casing the gallies as we pass Mikes learn to row course at Northney.  We will then row along the front of Thorney Island and find a suitable place for a picnic and a swim. Please bring a picnic lunch, drink and swim wear.  We will aim to be back by 3pm. Weather look to be warm and settled. Sign up below in the normal way.

Sorry but tomorrow's row is CANCELLED due to the predicted high wind forecast. It doesn't matter how many times I've checked the forecast today, it hasn't changed! Christine

Hi All,
Thanks for all your posts. Looking at the met office, at the time of the row tomorrow the wind is F5 gusting to F7.  So it is LIKELY the row could be cancelled.  Plan A will definitely not be happening.  We will look again at the forcast this evening and do a final update, this may not be until 9.30/10pm.  ( If the row did happen and the wind remains we will not be able to collect people from Northney, but will wait until 11.20am, for your arrival. Shanhaz I'll message you.)
