Sorry, me again. I tried to reschedule the Tudor SC visit but they can't get on the water on Saturday because of hauling-out chaos, so it will be a regular row. The weather is predicted to be sunny with light easterly winds, so let's make the most of it and go to My Lord's Pond for lunch. It is a longish row (about as far as HISC) but the rest in the middle will help.
The aim is to raft up in My Lord's Pond and share lunch - please bring stuff in the following finger-food groups:
Meat stuff eg sausage rolls (this is for you, Cheryl), pasties etc.
Veggie stuff eg falafels, coleslaw etc.
Sweet stuff eg individual fruit pies (golly how seventies, do they still sell those things?) fruit from your gardens, yummy flapjacks (Frances, this is for you).
To avoid as far as possible the Cutters tendency to over-cater, please post which item from which food group you propose to bring.
Bring your own drink. We won't judge, though I am still a bit inspired by the discussion of gin we had in the boat today.
I don't normally post to say that I can't go..... But sorry, as you've mentioned can I bring something ... I'm afraid we're out on a planned walk Saturday.
Yes please for this row as I really enjoyed the last row you organised to My Lord's Pond a couple of years ago.
I will bring individual apple pies ( yes I think our local coop sell them) and if no other vegetarians sign up I can bring something veggie.
Chris
I think I am up for this one - but as to what I might bring... it'll be what I can find on the way to the boat park, so I will check back to see what isn't bagsied.
