This weekend the moon gets closer to the earth than it has been since 1948 and it won't be as big again until 2037, according to NASA, so we should get out and see it.
The actual night of the full moon is Sunday but the forecast is for cloud. However, tomorrow night (Thursday) is predicted to be clear with a moderate breeze (F3/4) and the moon will be 80% full so it should be worth seeing.
I suggest we meet at 18.00, go out until we are bored and finish off with a quick one in the Oak. Wrap up warm and bring a torch.

Oh no, Cheryl and I would love to do this, but, like Andy we have tickets for the theatre then have the Grandchildren for a stayover. Never mind, perhaps in 2037!!
Fingers crossed Southern Rail doesn't let me down and I'll be with you all in time....if not, please don't wait fo me, and I'll be in the Royal Oak when you get back!!
Cheers
