Dave Cleeve has restored the dolly to its former glory. I watched him work for a week on this project and pointed out things he was doing wrong.
Thank goodness Josie had some IT skills and was able to order the parts..that didn’t arrive..so that Dave and Josie could drive to Southampton today and collect a new axle, in order that YOU LOT can enjoy your row this evening.
Dave’s Dolly will be available for public viewing from tonight…word to the wise please try not to engage him in conversation about the project, as you will quickly learn more about Copper nails and carpet than anyone needs to know…..well done Dave C. ( ps no other bosuns were harmed in the making of the dolly).

Apparently he writes poetry too.
