Teifi update

We have made a start on sanding the wood work on the teifi in the garage in the mews.  If you don't know where that is, it is the collection of houses in a gravel court yard drive opposite the Saltings road. The teifi is in the left hand garage facing you as you walk in to the mews.  There are 2 rolls of sand paper (green) on the back shelf.  The outer edge wood needs to be done with fine sand paper next, the seats need to be done with the coarse and then the fine.  I will purchase some varnish and brushes.

I can next go on Thursday afternoon this week 12th from around 1.30pm. Please come and join me if you have an hour to spare.
If you can go tomorrow Wednesday just carry on from where we left it.

I can bunk off work for a couple of hours tomorrow.

Can arrive around 1.30 and perhaps work for two hours until 3.30 ish as it is likely to be pretty cold beyond that.

Yes I'll be there, but the forcast looks like pouring rain so may not be very pleasant.  We need to finish the sanding.  I haven't yet bout any yacht varnish from a chandlers.

the boat is still under cover though in the garage isnt it?

So it will likely be pretty chilly , but we will be working under cover? right ?

Dee if it's raining there will be no room in the garage for Tess, also not good for her with the dust.  If able to pull boat out I think it will be OK.

Sanding is done on the teifi, varnish and brushes are purchased and I have them.  But have left the varnishing today until the weather is a bit warmer. So hopefully time and people to varnish next week.
