Like to say thank you for arranging today & for all those that came along.
The row was getting tougher as we went on so sadly turned around & rowed back to Langstone
But it was the right decision & we had a great time after at Mengham Rythe Sailing club eating & few drinks celebrating Ron & my birthday , also balloons & cake we couldn't have asked for better.
Plus to those that met us at the club hoping to cheer us in, but they still did, even though we drove there
We all did start with funny hats on but as we got colder & wind blew up we mostly gave up on them.
But loved Micheals elephant & Steve think you won the day, Id like to say all to be revealed but unfortunately we forgot to take pictures.
We also raised £25.00 for this years charity donated from the food,
I believe we have even got couple newbys coming along, so I would call that a successful day
