The Hamble Great River Raid - Saturday 13th May 2017
Dear Club Members
We have been invited to take park in the Hamble River Raid this year on the 13th May 2017
For those of you who have not been involved before it is a fine afternoon of handicap racing around an interesting 2 to 3 mile course and is very much open to all to take part
We will be looking to field as big a team as possible and I would ask all who are interested to post as soon as possible . It is designed to be an inclusive event so if you have not raced before this might be your opening opportunity
We will need assistance with getting the boats to and from the event and as well so please indicate if you can tow.
Please note we also have trophies to defend so if you just want to spectate you will be most welcome . There will be refreshments available at the venue including a BBQ and the hosts are very friendly
Hi Colin yes please for Ron and Cheryl. Cheryl would like to row and Ron would like to Cox or row. I have coxed for the last two years so know the course well. ~ Cheers Ron and Cheryl
