Hi All….yes that means you, if you use one of our boats!!!,
It may be a lousy way to start the New Year, but I see a spot of very bad rowing weather coming up,   so this is a good chance to service the radios.

 I intend to collect the vhf’s and give them a 1000 mile service ( I’m sure you have all been helping push that rowing mileage up this year whilst I have been out of action!!!).
To make it easier for me they will all be treated at the same time, so can I ask anyone who has one out to return it to the store asap
so that I can do it with the rest of them, and then get them back for use. All being well they should be available again in good time for the next scheduled row.

If anyone has difficulty with this then please email me directly ( not on the forum) and I’ll respond as necessary.
P.S. If you at some future time need to flag up a problem with the VHF’s then please use the “MAINTENANCE - VHF radios” part of the forum, then we can all see the currents state of affairs.
I have put this post in the main forum merely to make sure most members see it!

Nigel, thank you, I rowed today and found 6, yes 6 radios in the box. Took number 6, turned it off and returned it to the box.
