It’s that time of year again when posh frocks and dinner jackets come out to play….yes, it’s Trafalgar Night at The Ship Inn, Langstone!!

This is a traditional Naval evening of dinner, speeches, port toasts and songs to celebrate Lord Nelson and the Battle of Trafalgar.

In past years we have invited local Shanty Bands, we’ve had Mike Gilbert performing rowing songs and various other forms of fun entertainment.

This year something a little different, but equally fun, our very own Dave Myles and Mark Taylor (along with their crew of merry men and women), will be performing a very funny Mummers play all about the history of Lord Nelson….I’m told It’s not to be missed!!
(They will also be collecting for local charities, so please bring some cash).

The 2 course meal options:
Mains:
Roast Beef

Squash & Feta Pithivier (Vegan)
Dessert:
Cheese Board
Or
Apple & Blackberry Crumble (Vegan)

Total for the night is £30 per person
Including service charge and glass of Port.

PLEASE NOTE we are limited on space to 55 people in the upstairs room at The Ship, so this will be on a first come, first served basis.

Traditionally this is a black tie event, so I hope you’ll all get glammed up!!
