Also for those not aware... the Langstone Cutters has a couple of Shanties written by Alan Glock of the Southsea Shanty singers... the Words are attached here...

The 'Cutters Rowing Club' is a salute to the Langstone Cutters Ladies, following a triumph in the Great River Race for winning the Fastest Ladies trophy.

'La Belle Paris' is a salute to the Langstone Cutters team that raced, and won, the 2008 London to Paris rowing race...

Both may be enjoyed(!) in the evening so have a look at the choruses and be prepared!!

If anyone wants to form a 'Cutters Choir' and learn the whole thing... let me know, I am ready to sing you through it!!

If there is any other Shanty you fancy - post here and I will see what I can do!!
