There’s nothing better than this food passing your lips,
Oh how much I love my fish and chips.
Grains of salt and vinegar drops,
Cutting through the batter with the fish nice and hot.
The steam of the chips in the cold night’s breeze,
Sometimes even better with a helping of mushy peas.
You really can’t beat a food like this
Oh how much I love to eat my old English fish and chips.
