............. and do you fancy a spot of Barbarian gig racing with a very small number of Poole rowers?     We're bring Isabelle up from Poole for the Langstone regatta even tho' we don't by any stretch of the imagination have a full crew for any of the races  - but we feel she should still come out to play and go racing!          I know it's the "dark side" , but rowers are rowers - and if you can cope with thole pins and  fancy a go, there's three of us daft Poole s#ds who would welcome you with open arms!!   ............ oh, and we have cake!

Oi what do you mean the "dark side" Teri?! Hopefully if we can convince them I can help fill a few places with juniors and there are a couple of gig ladies not rowing so fingers crossed  between the cutters and gigs you can fill your boat x

Paula - Thank you so much! -  the juniors would be ever so welcome to row for/with us - as would anyone else who fancies a row with a (fat) skeleton crew of Pirates.   There are only three of us coming up from Poole with Isabelle ...... but we've got the  sticky ginger cake with us, and (in management-speak) our "mission statement" is give Izzy a damned good outing, plenty of racing , plenty fun, mud and water , loads of unsuitable food ....... and cake!                   Izzy's really nice to row so it'll be good to share her for the day!   :-)
