Just to clarify Geoff, the early morning fog cleared yesterday at 12.15, i believe lcrc went out for a row at about 13.00 and were packed away by 15.00.
At essc, we took our boat out to row z at 14.30, to the ship in Langstone. Beautiful conditions. On the return to Emsworth, it was a little cooler and hazy. By the time we reached swaere deep, the haze had become thick fog. Could not see any navigation marks and had no view of any shore. Was not a good situation to be in. The transition from haze to thick fog took less than 5 minutes. Neither Frances or I will be taking a gung ho attitude to the row today.
Let us wait and see what conditions are like later. Will post her after 12.00 noon
