short row for prospective members tues 9 Nov 12.30

The purpose of this row is to invite prospective new members to row with us from Langstone to Emsworth channel junction, then return to shore near northney slip for a warm drink banter and a snack. Creating the atmosphere of an excursion row but over a relatively easy distance.

Prospective new members who attended the 7 November rowing session are welcome to join this row.  Please call me on 07772263299 if you would like your name added.  I will then add to the forum here.

We will need a number of experienced existing LCRC. Members to participate in this row to make it a success,  so please sign up in usual way to help to welcome prospective new rowers.

The mind set we want to encourage is for prospective rowers to complete as much of the excursion as possible,  but with rest periods available from experienced rowers swapping in if needed.

Please bring plenty of warm layers.
Hw is 14.20 at 4.6m weather forcast  is f3 from south west.  Cloudy but dry.

Please be aware that this event will depend on the right mix of experienced rowers and prospective members. It is also dependent on no change to the current weather forcast.  So please call me on the morning of Tuesday to check the Eventr is going ahead
