Fellow rowers,
I'm interested to know if other rowers are experiencing intermittent problems with this forum as follows and does anyone suggest a solution.  

Both Frances and I Subscribe to Nabble to get the initial post in each subject raised on the forum. This way,  we get an alert on our email on the new subject and can decide if we want to take action.

In recent weeks,  it would appear that the notification to email has become intermittent. We seem to miss some subjects, but other subjects get through to email.

We have both unsubscribe and re subscribed to the forum, but this has made no difference.

Is any one else experiencing this? Any suggestions to fix?

Yes same for me.
I’ve missed lots of posts. No email alerts to threads I’ve posted on.

Same for me Mark. Sometimes I get daily notifications and sometimes I don’t.   If I am organising a row and ask for emails whenever anyone comments that mostly works but not always!  I generally check the forum about twice a day to see what I have missed!

Hi Mark, I’ve had no email notifications for a couple of weeks then they reappeared yesterday!

So far so good, as far as I know. Could it be an Apple v Google/Microsoft thing? I use the latter.

Hi Mark

I thought I was missing posts and just checked
I subscribe to the daily digest and there are gaps in the dates of the emails - up to five days at a time starting mid April.  

Using Apple if that helps identify the issue.

I have found a forum called Nabble Support and posted our problem on it. However I then realised that the last posting on it was Nov last year and talks about Nabble being discontinued. I think we might need to look for a new way to host our forum!

I have also twice stopped getting notifications without knowing why! I’ve kindly been re-added as I couldn’t see the tabs to do it myself. Hope the glitch can be sorted soon!

I seem to get loads of emails. All the posts for rows and everyone's replies. Using Android on an old Samsung phone.

Move away from Nabble to something secure and maintained.

The developer of Nabble lost interest in continuing it 5 years ago - see here .

It is insecure and unreliable and will probably break completely before very long. It is however free.

In my view, it is time to research a secure, current application. This will inevitably incur a subscription charge, but that is the price of internet security. One worth paying in my view.

Just my opinion.
