3 Harbours Random rowing Regatta Sat 25th March - see new post for arrangements

Hi all,
      The Coastal Rowing Academy are holding a Random Rowing Regatta at Northney Marina on Sat 25th March  from 12 till 4pm.  There will be lots of short races in different boat types. We have been invited to take Sweare Deep and one or both Galleys. These events are great fun and a chance to meet people from other local clubs.

Rachel,  I would like to do this,  but would need to meet you at northney.  I have a commitment in morning,  so unlikely to be able to row boats over from Langstone.

I am on the rota to organise the Saturday rowing, and don't wish to prevent anyone who wished to row in non-racing mode on that day......
 - BUT.... it looks like some (maybe all) of our boats will be committed to the Random Row event, thus making planning an alternative just a little bit more awkward, ....
...AND.....it would be nice if our club showed solidarity with the local rowing community by participating in this event, especially as it is right on our doorstep (!) ...
...SO.......I propose that we ALL support this event, even those who would otherwise prefer not to be competitive!

I would like to sign up for this event, and note that the Random Race event organiser (Mike) would like people to sign up before THURSDAY 16th March...
 ...so GET A MOVE ON the rest of you and let Rachel know in time that you are going to participate!!!
