Our club keeps our membership costs low by doing all our maintenance ourselves.
Every year we overhaul one boat, this year we must sand and varnish Langstone Lady.
We have been offered a workshop in Southsea for a few weeks.
Geoff our bosun ( not Grumpy) would like a team each day from 9-1, carpooling from The Ship.
Our club supplies the tools, coffee and biscuits. We members supply the labour. No skills are needed, all will be taught.
This is like all our rows, laughter, exercise and communal recreation.
It is also a vital part of our being able to do the above all year.
We will put the boat on the trailer after the blessing of the fleet, power wash her and have her ready to tow on Monday morning.
We need you to help with this and her unloading.
So volunteer on Geoffs post for this and each day you can.
