Annual General Meeting Sat 27th Jan admin and catering

The Annual General meeting of the Cutters will take place at the Langstone Sailing Club on Saturday 27th January starting at 6.30 pm

We  encourage all members to attend as it is a part social /part business  and fun event . For members with partners who are not members they will be welcome too ( Although only members can vote )

The format of the evening will be:

We will have a bar and cheap drinks are on offer ( The sailing club bar is card only )

There will be Chilli type food and baked potatoes and pudding to enjoy. This is usually provided by various members and I would be grateful for volunteers to contribute a pot of chilli/veggie chilli/chilli alternative/tortilla chips/salad/pudding. We ask for those not providing food to put a £5 note in the pot towards the cost etc and any surplus goes to club funds (Please bring cash for this as it is a voluntary donation)

We will also have a raffle and we will be asking for donations from members . The tickets are £1 each or £5 a strip to make life easy . Please bring cash for this too.

The Treasurer and Chairman will give their reports (other reports have been circulated in advance) and there will be the oportunity to ask questions / make comments / vote on proposals.  You will be also asked to vote for your 2024 committee.

This is a relaxed evening and an opportunity to socialise whilst we also discuss plans for your club during 2024

The Sailing Club has limits on the number of people that can attend - but hopefully there will be room for all members who wish to join us.  

ACTION - Please can you advise if you are planning to attend so we can have an idea of numbers and also if you have any dietary requirements.
Also,  if you are willing to assist with catering - and what you would like to provide.  I will produce a further consolidation post re catering in due course.

I am afraid i cannot confirm my attendance either way at the moment. I am scheduled to have my hip replaced on 22nd Jan anything after that is wholly dependent on progress. I am also hoping for a knee replacement asap ,all right leg, left leg to follow .
So regretfully no ccc this year from me but i would scof a hot one if i managed to get to the agm
