Another message for row organisers

Sallyport, and to a lesser extent, Langstone Lady have been suffering in this prolonged hot and dry period with both boats currently suffering leaks. To try and manage the situation, can we please do the following whilst we are in hot and dry periods in order to try and stop the boats drying out:

1. Prioritise the use of Sallyport and Langstone Lady on excursion rows over the rest of the fleet.
2. Leave the bung in after a row. If there is little water in the boat after a row (this might be the case for Langstone Lady), add some as part of the cleaning. Before launching the boats, remember to remove the bung to let the water out and please do not forget to re-insert the bung!!!!
3. To try and get some more shade, the galleys are currently being stored further up the boat park on the right hand side near the locker alongside the Oak tree.
