Arrangements for Head of the Harbour - 14th March UPDATE

Good Evening all participants

Please see Rachel’s post from March 8th for timings and also please read the note for participants.

Due to tides we need to get Sweare Deep out of the boat park on Friday afternoon. Richard Bland has kindly agreed to tow her to overnight at Dell Quay. We need 3/4 more volunteers to get her loaded and down the slipway at 2.30pm on Friday.

I will meet Richard at Dell Quay on Saturday morning to follow him to Itchenor. We will arrive at 8.15am so I would like the Open and Ladies crews to be there to row her round to the pontoon. The coxes have a briefing at 9.15am.

The mixed crew may wish to arrive a little later as their race is scheduled for 2.00pm, but please arrive by at least 1.00pm. HAVING NOW READ THE INSTRUCTIONS MIXED CREWS NEED TO BE THERE AND REGISTERED BY 11am

At the end of the event Dave Cleeve will be towing back to Langstone, so again if we can organise about 5/6 of us to get her back into the boat park please.
