Boat Park clear up - UPDATED - Changed to Friday 9:30am, due to weather.

Hi all,
Weather is now on the turn again for the rest of the day and tomorrow.
Friday (17th) looks much better, so i propose moving this to Friday morning at 9:30am.
There’s no point putting in hard work to make it look nice today, only to have it all rained on for 2 days!!
It should only take 3/4 of us a couple of hours Friday morning!!

Hi all,
I’ve been asked to arrange a clear up of the boat park getting it ready and looking lovely for Blessing Of The Boats on 19th.

I believe Rich and a few helpers made a good start the other day, so hopefully it  won’t take too long.

We will be cutting the grass as well as other various clearing up and chopping duties.

Please bring any tools, gloves and bin bags you have.

Wednesday 15th looks the best day next week, so I propose we meet at 4pm. With enough of us turning up and putting in the effort, it shouldn’t take long at all.

Hope to see ALL of you there, this is YOUR Boat Park, and we want to make it look lovely ready for the 19th.

Hi Matt, thanks for organising.  I had a quick shufti yesterday and it shouldn’t take too long as the team last weekend did a good job.  Please make sure the flowers are not chopped back just the weeds and reeds! Any arisings can be disposed of right at the back of the boat park amongst the brambles.   I will be there as soon as I can but have a hosp appt in afternoon so can’t guarantee time.  Liz
