Thank you to all those who pitched in to tiddly up the boat park this morning. A great team effort and the boat park does indeed look very tiddly!
We need to tiddly up our boat park prior to the Blessing of the Boats on Sunday 27th (see previous posts). As you know we are a self-help club so all members are encouraged to volunteer if available.
The plan is to do this on completion of Friday’s row. Please come along and help at 1130 armed with suitable gloves, shears, loppers, secateurs, rakes, strimmers or just yourselves as I will bring some spares. Mike has kindly offered the loan of his lawnmower. Hopefully it will only take an hour or so and we can then retreat for our reward at the pub if so desired.
If you are doing Sue’s row, you can leave any gardening kit at the back of the boat park while you are away on the water.
Many thanks
Liz
