CHRISTMAS DO - PLEASE READ!

Dear boys and girls,

The clocks have now changed, dark evenings are upon us and I’m sure you’ll all be really excited to know that Santa is less than 55 days away. But between now and then we have the LCRC Christmas Do!

Just like Santa, I too have a long list of who’s been naughty and who’s been nice – which list are YOU on?!

Those on the nice list have paid in full and given me your menu choices….Thank you very much!
However the naughty list….well, this consists of those who have said they are coming and have yet to pay anything, some have paid the deposit but not in full, quite a lot of you still owe me menu choices and some of you have yet to make up your minds if you're attending or not – you know who you are!!

PLEASE can the naughty list people get in touch with me asap.
Next Tuesday (8th) I will be going to the pub to sort out and hand over all money and all our menu choices. This really is the cut off date for the pub, as they need 4 weeks to start sorting out all the food, enough cutlery and glasses, enough chefs and waiting staff and most importantly all the booze! If your name’s not down by then, I’m afraid I can’t guarantee your menu choices etc. and it would be such a shame if you missed out on such a great night! (Please find menu attached below)

As an aside, we have been given permission by the pub to provide live music for the evening.
I’ve been told there will be all the usual Christmas hits playing throughout the evening, however if anyone knows of a small upstart band or something that would be willing to play and entertain us in return for a few beers etc, that would be great, and I’m sure would make for a really nice night.
Some of you have also expressed that it would be nice to have a raffle or some party games on the night too. Unfortunately, my up coming work schedule is just about to go a bit mad so I won’t have time to do much, but I’m very happy if someone else wants to take these ideas and organise them.
