Claydons moorings

I have replaced the spring clip and mooring line with a screw gate clip. If you don't know what I'm talking about you need to row out and collect boat from mooring. Geoff

It should be much more secure - the reason Mabel went walkabout in Storm Katie was probably the spring carabiner capsizing.
Please note that the new carabiner is on rather a long rope so you will need to bring the small buoy quite a long way out of the water to retrieve it when taking a Claydon back to her mooring.
