Food on Sunday
Geoff Probert of Henley Whalers has arranged for the Fountain in Cowes to feed us once again. He writes:
Whalers and Cutters,
The outing on Sunday is still uncertain due to wind forecasts. These have been changing and so the decision to proceed or abandon may be taken very late.
We are due to have lunch at the Fountain Inn in Cowes as in recent previous outings.
Due to the uncertainty they have asked that we pre-order from a short menu. This way they can quickly and easily serve us and minimise wastage if we have to cancel.
If you are due to come on the Icebreaker outing please have a look at the menu choices (attached) and follow this link and answer the questions NOW so that I may inform the Fountain Inn of choices.

As Geoff says, the forecast is a bit marginal with all sites predicting a steady F4 westerly which is fine but gusting to F5 or 6 which would cause problems as it will be blowing right onto the slipway. Watch this space!
