ECA Cockleshell Challenge Sunday 9th June 2019 (Saturday 8th now cancelled)
This post was updated on .
Thanks to everyone who has posted their availability for the above event on Chris P's post. If anyone else is interested in taking part [see Chris P's post for details], can you please post by the end of Wednesday 05/06 so we can work out how many boats to take and the logistics of getting them there.
UPDATE 05/06. The Saturday event is now cancelled. I might look to post an open row on that day but need to work out arrangements on getting boats to ECA in readiness for Sunday before doing that.
Please continue to post for inclusion on Sunday but be aware that you would most likely be in Mabel or Gladys.
Sunday:
Jane D
Dee
Marion
Bobby
Tina
Martin
Rachel
Shanaz
Elaine
Joan
Steve
Colin
Nigel
Chris ?????
As much as I was looking forward to it I'm afraid I'll have to pull out of the Sunday. Not sure yet about Saturday. Should there be an open row I might be able to make that but I'll wait and see. Thanks, Jane
Hi Tom. The race starts at 10:30. We are almost certainly only going to take 2 boats and probably have enough rowers now. If you can make the time, would you be happy being a reserve?
Cheers
Dave
Hi Jane
Apologies for any confusion but it is Jane Davey who is on the crew list for this event. Please look out on the forum for details of an open row on Saturday - this will be posted later this evening hopefully.
Dave
I am not 100% sure on what is where in that peninsula. ECA is the on the left hand side if approaching from the ferry. It has secure gates through which you should see the two storey clubhouse. If you reach the marina on the right hand side, you have gone too far.
