Excursion Row Thu 9 Oct 1140 crew update

My diary has filled up so I can only do Thursday 9 October this week.  If anyone wishes to organise a bonus row - please do!

High tide on Thursday is at 1340 (5.17M) so let us meet at the boat park at 1140 for a nice row out, then on to somewhere for refreshments and equally nice row back. Destination to be decided on the day (depending on what the wind and weather decides to do).

We have 12 people, it’s a lovely morning with gentle NW winds and lots of tide. suggest a row through the bridges down to the Ferryboat beach for refreshments.

….But remember, Phil et al., it’s a 5.0m tide that day ….so be careful whereabouts in the car park you leave the car! Choose the higher ground! (Especially if it’s a southerly wind and low pressure!).
