Frosty Saturday afternoon splash and dash.

Timp
This post was updated on .
Saturday afternoon looks bright if somewhat chilly so with a small window of enough water and light between 2 pm - 4 pm it looks like a Chichester Harbour dash with sunglasses, layers galore, woolly hats, snoods and scarves if anyone fancies it.

Also potentially a Red necked Grebe to be seen (a rare tick) or perhaps more likely a red necked cutter or two☀️❄️🌬
The Galley has it then 2pm at the Mill.

Hi Tim

My personal choice would be:

Galley
Claydon
Skiff

Purely because we only have a window of a couple of hours to work with and the Claydon takes a bit longer than a Galley to ready and the Skiffs require 30 minutes of faffing / fitting out / keys / launching and the same to recover.

Galley = 20 minutes in and out.
Claydon = 40 minutes in and out.
Skiff = 60 minutes in and out

Unless of course you were planning on being out longer, when a Skiff would enable us to launch from the North slipway from 11 am onwards.
Twelve til four in a Skiff would get my vote, but for a couple of hours, a Galley wins hands down in my view.
Best

Hi Tim, have been up most the night with the coughing lurgy. Don't want to let you down leaving you with the dreaded seven but not up to rowing. So will be there but can I cox the Teifi or whatever please.
