Get Up and Go! Course visit Wednesday

As part of the Get Up and Go! Learn to row course both classes have been invited over to the Boat park on Wednesday evening  to 'meet the cutters'. our chance to show them how we launch and recover boats. There's not much water, but its more about showing our friendly and welcoming side;  up to12 people will be coming.

So can as many as possible come along between 6 and 7.30 to meet and greet?

Hi All

As we are entertaining a dozen or so guests on Wednesday evening, the mid week row will be doubling up with Mike to meet and greet our guests, and to give them a warm welcome, plus an opportunity to get the feel of handling and rowing the boats.

Start time is 18.00 hours and we will be rowing in and around the Saltings as per a traditional Sunday Open Row and ensuring that our guests all get to " play " with the boats.

See you all at 18.00 and just to be 100% clear, this event is replacing this weeks mid week row.

Everybody welcome and the more the merrier.

See you all Wednesday.

Apologies for dashing off once we had finished the boat loading, as I couldnt find my keys and raced off to rescue them from the back of the car where I left them when I was putting my wellies on.

Many thanks to all the Cutters that turned up.. Big wins for us:

1. HBC saw us in action and were very impressed... we were seen as friendly, upbeat and well organised; already talking about more courses being subsidised in October and 2019;
2. The Trainees 'mucked in' and enjoyed being part of the action.... several will join us as members...
