Gravesend Regatta 1st/2nd August

Hi all,
       Below is new information about this event. Luckily the Gig regatta date has changed now so the two don't clash but the Gig Club Summer Party is on the Saturday night of this weekend.

Please could everyone who would like to go post below to confirm.

Here's a summary of the weekend:
Dates: Saturday 1st & Sunday 2nd August 2026

Format: A relaxed "turn up and row" event using our four Clayton/Claydon skiffs, so there's no need to bring boats or trailers. The idea is to make it as easy as possible for visiting clubs to take part.
Categories: Men's, Women's, Mixed and Veterans (depending on entries).
Camping: There isn't camping on site, but the nearest campsite is Hope Hill Campsite, just a short drive away. If anyone needs help with accommodation or logistics, I'm more than happy to help.

Timings: Registration from around 9:00am, with racing expected to start at approximately 10:00am on both days. We'll circulate the final race schedule once entries are confirmed.

Away from the racing, we're putting on a full weekend of entertainment with over 35 stalls, live music, a funfair, street food, a licensed bar, the RNLI Thames Crew Challenge and plenty going on for families, so we're hoping it'll be a great weekend both on and off the water.
