How to add my own picture

Can anyone advise? I've been trying to put my own photo on without success. I've taken a selfie, gone to Account Settings, chosen the file from Gallery then pressed Upload but nothing happens. I've tried several times.

Have you checked the file size doesn’t exceed the 4mb maximum? It will probably fail if it does. You could email or message the picture to yourself which will reduce the size and then make it usable?  Just an idea, sorry if that doesn’t work but the only thing I can think of.

Hi Liz,  I think in the long distant past there was a something about not being able to do it from a phone but only a laptop or computer?

Yes agree. I could only do it on a computer

Thanks for the advice. I have managed to add my picture now but it's not very good as I can't get it to not crop a lot of it. I may try taking a different picture from further away.
