Invitation to A TwixMass Regatta

The Coastal Rowing Academy Club, across the water at Northney, felt that they should have a bit of rowing fun between Christmas and New Year - in order to get the Christmas waistline down, and prepare for the New Year celebrations. High Water on Sunday 29th December is at 10.15 so we could run some random races from 09.00-12.00 - if the weather is kind...

The 'TwixMass Regatta'Twixmass_event.pptx is aimed at just getting people together, sharing some fun rowing and a winter BBQ and Soup session.

The plan is to launch boats off the North Slip at Hayling; get random crews rowing in 'pairs' from the bridge to the north slip; and then swapping around and trying other boats and mixing up crews.  

CRAC has 2 Gigs; 2 Salter Skiffs; and 2 Quads. Would the Cutters Members like to row over in SWeare Deep so we can race 2 Celtics? Perhaps bring Sallyport and Langstone Lady? So CRAC members can try these boats (as Fancy That is now destined to be a CRAC boat.) - so everyone can race in everything!

£10 entry gets you all the rows you might want to do; and a BBQ 'bite' and hot soup included - pay on the day.  

It should be possible to row over and row back the same day... so if interested, post in reply to this...
