Paul of Henley Whalers has two spaces available on their American Whaler Molly on the Dorestad Raid on the River Ijsel. In a nutshell. Yes, annual.

More detail - Dorestad Raid is usually "mid Sept", in NE Netherlands.  Generally a new route each year.
Unusually this year, many Henley Whalers members have commitments which clash with Dorestad Raid, hence we are pleased be able to offer space.  Your good luck?

The accommodation is nearly full - Anyone interested will need to contact me ASAP for more info or to "sign up".

Hi Chris thanks for that. I had already signed up for it with them as they are short of ballast! Done it before and it's fabulous semi race -well really a rally through the inland lakes and rivers and canals.  Part sailing in the case of Molly, part rowing.  Plus you meet lots of interesting folk.

Anyone else interested in joining the crew of our American whaleboat "Molly" for the 2019 Dorestad Raid, is very welcome to apply, but they may have to go on our "reserve" list.
A willingness to "camp" on either of our sail-and-oar boats would increase your chances of a place - You would get the full catering "package", and access to facilities on the hotel barge Indubio. - You could also join the queue to get a bed aboard her.

Dates Wed 18th to Sun 22nd September 2019.
