Hi Guys,

Well I thought that was a great session yesterday and many thanks Mark for getting us going and  Chris P for his coaching.

From what I can see the next similar good evening tide is Monday 1st July. Are we all good for this one? Sorry Richard I cannot see your unavailability as an advert is stamped across it.

Also with a longer term date/test. There is a 7 mile race by the Lower Thames rowing club on Sunday 25th August (Bank holiday weekend)in Southend on sea, Essex. A race which includes the end of the longest pleasure pier in the world! Or at least thats what google says. It's 2 weeks before the GRR. Are we all up for this date, if so we can see if we can enter Mabel and maybe others?

I'm doing kayak training on Monday July 1st at 7pm, so probably won't be able to row unless we can put Mabel somewhere accessible at low tide and schedule so that rowing finishes before 17-40.
I'll be doing this training each Monday at the same time.
Have similar arrangements for Wednesdays, but these are negotiable.

 As with Alan, I am hoping for a "Henley" row (couldn't we all do that row -even if it isn't in the right boat?) and I think the Essex row is a good idea [provided Alan can act as translator for me when we get there!!!]

Hi team Mabel
It seems that 5 of us can row on Tuesday at 18.00 so can we meet then.  the crew will be Alan, Richard, Nigel, Barry and Martin.   It seems only 3 of us can make Sat 13th so lets leave that on hold at the .   Mark are you free on Thursday 18th as you ahve it down as a question mark.  We could row meet at 18.15 that day and get the boat ready for Martin to join us at 18.45.

Since Mark is willing to organise the Wednesday the 17th row**, and if (bearing in mind that due to hols, etc. many of us won't be available in some of the following weeks) people are willing to do 2 rows that week -I could co-ordinate the Thursday 18th if the crew wishes.....let me know.

Hi all,
    You will have seen Martin's email saying that unfortunately he can't be with us on Thursday the 18th.

 I've arranged for Andrew Berry to fill in for him on that occasion, so we should be "quorate" - indeed Andrew indicated that Debbie could/might also come along to make sure that we aren't skiving!!!
 
Re TODAY's row:        we might be joined by some kayakers from Portsmouth  in the vicinity of the Gutner Point / Marker Point area measured half mile.
