MIDWEEK ROW FRIDAY 08-45

This week is going to be good for weather (or else!!!) and not so good for tides [or me] (until later in the week).
Accordingly I'm proposing Friday morning as this week's row, meeting at 08-45, for a 9 am departure. Those of you who know the tide will think this a tad early for a 4.8m tide with HW at around 11-30, but there is a reason which I'll explain on the day.
The destination will include Emsworth, by whatever route seems most attractive on the day.
Come equipped with plenty of water and suntan lotion, and any layers and hats you think necessary.

P.S. I am aware that Monday evening (and possibly Tuesday) might be considered as wonderful opportunities for demonstrating your rowing prowess, - but I am unavailable for these. However, I shan't be offended if someone else wishes to organise something for either of these days. Please post such plans on a fresh thread on the forum (to avoid confusion).

P.P.S.  I am very grateful to Mark for pointing out that I had transposed Friday and Saturday tides and times. The data above is now corrected (I hope!)

Nigel, I would like to row. Incidentally, the tide according to my chart is 11:19 at chi entrance  rather that the 12:15 you quoted. Does that affect your plans?

     Thanks for pointing out my error in reading the tidal data - I'd moved my eyes down the column to the Saturday !
