Neap tides as we go through this week, so an evening row to g. k. w. is probably the best bet.
Gather at 6-45 for a relatively short row, returning just after the top of tide (HW approx. 8-10), no later than sunset, with the lights of the Royal Oak as incentive....nautical twilight is about an hour later.
Usual procedure - sign up in the usual way , including any parental consents and special conditions, and come dressed appropriately.
P.S. Please don't ask for the lat and long. of g.k.w. !
I know I've not been rowing for a while, and am not up to date with the latest rowing trends at the mo... but what is this? a new pub called the Good King Wenceslas, perhaps? (Sorry can't come, waiting for back to recover, just curious!)
Sunset is projected as being 21-14 for that day, Andy.
P.S. does "buffday" mean arriving without appropriate rowing apparel, Dee? I can't condone that. You must be dressed for the weather!!!
P.P.S. Frances, I'm not sure what Good King Wenceslas has to do with " Great Kilowatt Wastage" on a rowing outing, but if we pass him on our journey I'll be sure to give him a wave!

Hi Nigel,
My cars got to go in to get some bodywork done on it, but if they give me a courtesy car, then I'd love to join you guys. I'll let you know for definite on Wednesday
Thanks, Matt
Would like to join in. Apart from Open Rowing I've only rowed on the short excursion the Saturday we were on gardening duty a couple of weeks ago. Will I be OK to come along? Mo
