!!!We did it!!! I am really grateful to you all for your generosity in supporting Melons school. Langstone Cutters is such a great club to be part of and you are an amazing bunch of people.
Another £102 pounds raised at the Blessing of the Boats cake sale! Thank you so much to everyone who baked and donated cakes, it was a wonderful spread, and to Anne and Bobby for all their organising and supplying of teas and coffees. And of course a big thank you to everyone who came and ate cake and donated generously to Melons. We are a step closer to paying for a roof for the school to keep out the Kenyan downpours! What a lovely day and a wonderful club :-)

Dear Cutters,
The club raised another £323 pounds for Melons School on Sunday at the Round Hayling event making our grand total £837! Thank you so much to everyone who contributed to this effort. The team who served tea, coffee and cakes all day to visitors and supporters were superb and stayed calm under pressure after the event when rowers arrived in large groups and were frankly desperate and in some cases unable to speak until they had been given tea and cake! Thank you to everyone who baked and donated cakes, we put on a very good spread. And last but not least a special thank you to Frances for her organisation and for telling everyone about Melons!
Hi all,
Huge thanks to everyone who came to the Seals talk and BBQ and gave so generously, we raised another £400!!! for Melons school. Thanks also to John for an excellent talk, Mike for having the idea in the first place and for working so hard all evening on the BBQ, to Jax and Simon Sprackling for their very generous donation of their really delicious burgers and sausages, and also to Emsworth brewery for reducing their beer prices. All in all a lovely event and an excellent contribution to the school.

We have had a very generous donation of £400 from two of our club members which brings the total up to £1637 which is amazing . We are getting so close now and the building team who will be at the school for 3 weeks in October are so grateful for our help. Thank you both from all the lovely kids!

Another £176 donated by Nigel to match what he and Angela raised for Macmillan at their coffee morning on Wednesday. Thank you for such a generous donation and to all those Cutters who went along and contributed.
Many thanks to Bobby for today's excellent treasure hunt and lovely food it was a great afternoon. The event raised another £125 for Melons with generous donations from people who couldn't make it as well as those who did.
Dear Cutters we have received another £125 for Melons school. A big thank you to Steve for donating his earnings from coaching the Eastney ladies Gig crew and to Phil P for his generosity. Everything we raise now will go towards buying the loos and sinks for the newly built toilet block. Let's keep going until the end of the year and see what we can do!
Thank you!!
And another £30 from Christine who kindly donated part of her fee for working on my back ... which I have to say is now pain free so a win-win for me!
