Mid-week row NOW TUES 16th at 10.00

Low tide on Wednesday is at 13.00 so I propose to row for hot soup lunch on the Winner, the big sandbank just inside Chichester harbour mouth. It's BYOS (bring your own soup) but I will bring some crusty bread and stuff. The weather is predicted to be dry but a bit breezy so lunch will be short.
We will meet at 11.00 at the boat park in Langstone, hitch up one of the galleys and tow her round to Northney where we will launch off the north slip.
If more than six people are interested in coming, it would be good if we had an additional tower though I could shuttle the boats over if necessary.
We will get back at about 14.00 at Northney and then take the boat back to the Mill.

Since my original post, the Met Office forecast for Wednesday has got steadily worse. It is now predicting heavy rain and F5/6 winds.
On the other hand the forecast for tomorrow has got steadily better, now showing dry conditions with F2/3 winds.
Thursday is going to be very nasty with winds gusting F9.
So I suggest we reschedule for tomorrow - please note the earlier time of 10.00 to coordinate with the early HW time of 12.00.
Is that OK with everybody? I do apologise if anyone can't now make it, but I suspect there are some who might now be able to come along after all. Please confirm either way.
