Chris and all!

I'm really sorry but my meds are not letting me settle and regulate my temperature and so being out in a boat is not going to do my body any good - though it would do wonders for my soul!

So unfortunately I'm going to have to pull out too.

I count two full galleys and a teifi, no passengers to get cold, with my withdrawal and so I'm hopeful I'm not scuppering anyone's row.

Have a good one.

Jealously,
Shel x

Lovely pic, I'm sure it was a beautiful row. I was morphined up and asleep on the sofa by 10.30. I'll try again when I'm off the chemo (only about nine weeks to go!!! Hurrah!!!!)

Hi Shelley,

You would be more than welcome to join us for the Thursday excursion row, to enjoy the sunshine and some coxing if you feel up to it?

Having a wander down the channel into the lee of Thorney, nosing around marker point for a bit of seal watching and up into Emsworth for a pint or a cuppa. Then homewards with a following breeze.

A gentle and relaxing three hour round trip is the plan!
Best

Hi Andy, thanks for the invite. I watch the midweek rows for suitability and really should get to more than I currently am! However, this week is very unlikely due to my chemo routine - the first week after having it is always tough with me being rather ill and having very little energy.

I have in the past often driven to the rowing destination to join everyone for a coffee/pint/ice cream and I should start doing this again until such time as I feel strong enough to go in the boat!

See you on the water soon!

Brilliant pic - fed up that I'd run out of steam and missed the row!

You are of course welcome any time Shelley.

We should be arriving Emsworth sometime around 2.30 I reckon if you feel up to it.

Best Wishes
