Midweek row Thursday Oct 22 at 1400

The weather is predicted to be a bit blustery but let’s meet at 1400 and go for a row down to Marker (or Verner if we are feeling energetic) then up to the visitors pontoon to change coxswains and have tea. Bring a flask of your favourite teatime tipple and if you want to bring cake that will be all the merrier.

OK so the crews we have for Thursday are:

Boat 1 (meet 1345)
James
David
Rachel
Marilyn
Me

Boat 2 (meet 1400)
John C
Liz
John P
Mo
Geoff

If anyone has a firm opinion about which boat you would prefer, please post now so we can make the arrangements.
If anyone else wants to come along, I can scull a Teifi so you would be more than welcome. You just need to bring Battenburg cake to appease me.

My choice would be Langstone Lady. I think it would be a better balance, geoff

Just spoke with Chris P on the phone and I will join the happy band of rowers today as CHris is happy to row Teiffi. My preferred boat would be Sware Deep, as have never rowed it, or Mabel.

Chris asked me to remind anyone else that if they wish to scull with Chris, they would be welcome to join in.

May I book the other Teifi, but for a later start time - probably about 3-15 - as I have an alternative commitment at 2pm. Thus, if any one else wishes to use this Teifi at 2(ish) I am happy to opt out and let them take advantage of the good weather!
