The best combination of tide times and weather this week is probably Tuesday, which is set to be a little bit windy but a bit sunny too. High water and sunset happen at the same time (19.00) so let’s meet at 16.30 to get the boats on the water as soon as practical for a blitz down harbour, returning by 19.00 for a sundowner at the Royal Oak.
Its not my call of course, but having just walked the dogs along the Northney shore the wind is going to have to drop considerably before it becomes Chris's aforementioned 'a little bit windy'...mind you 6 hours may do it..
The wind speed shown at Cambermet is F5/6 but the trend is down. It should be F4 by 17.00 so I am going to go to Langstone and take a view at 16.30, and the row will probably be shorter. Anyone else is welcome to join me but I quite understand if you feel it is too much.
