Moving boats for Round Hayling Race on Saturday

Mark Taylor
Forgive me for posting this if this is already in hand, but as I am not involved in the committee side of the event, I am not aware of any plans.

I am advised by Mike Gilbert that there is a pontoon at Northney available that is to where we need to move Gladys on Saturday. I am not available to move Gladys, but Nigel and Barry said they could move her on Saturday. Is there anyone else who could help to move Gladys on Saturday?

Reason for posting this is that Gladys is scheduled to depart just after coxes brief on Sunday and there will be insufficient water to  get her off the mud early enough at Langstone.

I presume the Galleys will be OK to  launch at Langstone and row to Northney as they start much later.

What time are Barry and Nigel planning to move Gladys?     If it's after the regattas all done and dusted I'll gladly come over and help.

I have just seen the post - HW at Northney is around 12.30; I am in Southampton till 12.30 so my earliest arrival at the Mill is 13.40. Can Nigel, Les, Dee and Teri meet at 13.30 and bring Gladys to the Mill so we can then row her across to the Marina.
Do we have a reference to the pontoon we should use?
This is all last minute so we run the risk of of not communicating  - my mobile number is 07739 063346 can I ask Nigel, Les, Dee and Teri let me know they are OK with this arrangement?
Thank you
Barry

I think we have Geoff, Nigel, Dee and John who all said they could make 12:00 meet at mill. Would help if we could have 5th person but could probably do it with four.
