John and I are supposed to be on duty tomorrow morning. The Met Office is forecasting rain in the morning and wind force 4 to 5, with XC Weather predicting even windier, 22 to 29 knots. It seems unlikely that any new people will turn up to try rowing at 8.30 in the morning, so we don't see any point in John and me coming down.  I have a painful eye infection,  and we would need to leave home before 8. There won't be much tide either with tidal height only 3.9 metres at 9.15. Some members may want to do GRR training.  Thank you Chris, Mike and Teri for offering to be there, but I afraid we don't want to row or hang about in this weather. See you when summer returns! Liz

The Sallyporters weren't planning a training row tomorrow ….. and like you, I can't see many bodies turning up for an open row early on a (very) blowy Sunday.   So see you when summer returns Liz!!

Thank you everyone at the open row.  My family had a lovely time and the children are keen to learn to row now.  Sue
