Portsmouth row

KeithY
Been working to test the feasibility, tides, timings etc for a fairly challenging row around Portsmouth from our club base.
Plan would be across Langston harbour,  past Tudor, up the Hilsea Channel, across the Hilsea pond and under the M275, across Portsmouth harbour and out through the harbour entrance, along the Southsea front to the entrance of Langston harbour at Eastney point and back.

c.18nm, with some key way points we need to hit so we will need a good team(s) of rowers please. Looking to have 6 in each boat including 2 experienced coxes to allow swap around per the GRR. The final team will be at the Rowing captains discretion.

Current plan is either 17/18 July. There maybe a small charge per boat to cover Portsmouth harbour dues.

At this stage, anyone interested in signing up what should be an exciting and adventurous challenge.
