Hi All, very sorry to report that the TS Alacrity visit to the open row Sunday has to be CANCELLED due to injury problems and an administration mix up on their part. Cheryl and I returned from Italy Wednesday and only had chance to talk to the TS Alacrity organisers today.
The open row with Mark and Francis will carry on as normal. I have posted a separate thread so, hopefully, all will note the cancellation.
Many thanks to those who offered support and help. All the best ~ Ron and Cheryl

T.S. Alacrity (Sea Cadets Denmead unit) visited us for the open row Sunday 17 July. They enjoyed it so much that they have requested a return visit for the open row Sunday 18 September. They have particularly requested the attendance of Steve W as they very much appreciated his welcome and assistance to their disabled lieutenant who wants to attend again. Mark, Frances and Alison are beachmaster and duty rowers with Katie down for the juniors. Cheryl and I will attend (of course). It was great fun last time and we ask for cutters to attend and help again this time. (Please)
We hope that the club find it acceptable to receive TS Alacrity again.

Jonathan as a beginner could help, if this is any use, but regrets that he has had to rule out a Galley at present, so only in a Claydon if water born.
Hi Steve, yes still on. We got back from Italy yesterday afternoon so just picking up on things. Desperate to get on the water. see you soon ~ Ron and Cheryl
