Mabel blown off her mooring last night and washed up on the shore by Wade Court lane... can we have all who can help to meet an hour before HW today to help bale her out and get her back please? meet at say 13.00 at the Mill...
Please note she is actually at the bottom of Pook Lane... swamped and bit bedraggled, oars present; flooring supports broken, but the hull looks sound... tough old boat! will need hand pumps.
If we want to trailer her out it would have to be via Pook Lane...
I am working in The Skiff Factory this morning... but will come back for 12.00

For information -since no on e else has posted (yet) ----Mabel* is now on her trailer at Colin's.
-and the Bosun is even more GrXXXY than usual, 'cos he can see lots of 'oles - mostly where they shouldn't be!
* was Mabel grumpy at not being blest yesterday? Is that why she went walkabout??!
-or was it related to the magic number 977 ?
