Row on the Sussex Ouse Saturday Aug 3

This is well in advance but it has just been agreed and I want to get it in people’s diaries. The idea is to row up the Sussex Ouse from Newhaven to Lewes, a row the Cutters have never done before. Our hosts will be Newhaven Gig Rowing Club who are based in Newhaven Marina with a club house in Newhaven Fort nearby.
On Aug 3 high tide is 1330 so we need to launch at about 1130 to catch the tide up to Lewes. We will also row out to sea a little bit to get photos of us with the Seven Sisters.
So it is an all-day event. As ever, it all depends on the weather.
Miles will be coming as well.
