Session 1
Mon 14th Dec  13.00 to  16.00    
Geoff,  Ron, Cheryl and Les
Tape removed and mastik carefully scraped out of all temporary repairs. Wood really wet in places.

Session 2
Mon 14th Dec  18.30 - 21.00
Geoff , Les, Tim,  Rachel
Sanded all suspect joints and lots of boat. Very noisy sanding even noisier singing. Tim renamed the boat and demonstrated he needs more practise with vacuum cleaners.

Session 3
Tues 15th Dec 13.00 - 17.00
Geoff, Les, Teri, Rachel
Finished all the joint cleaning, hoovered the boat and applied mastik. Les licked it flat even though I told him not to.

.......nothing wrong with licking boats Rachel - makes 'em feel loved ....... and they then go faster !!

Session 4
Thurs 17th Dec 13.00 - 17.00
Geoff, Les, Teri, Len and Christine
How I missed the photo opportunity tonight I will neve know, I opened the door to the workshop and peered through a cloud of blue dust to make out 5 smurfs, blue faces, blue hair and in some cases blue teeth. I'm guessing most of the paint sanding must be complete ☺thanks to a lot of dusty hard work.

Session 5
Mon 21st Dec 13.00 - 17.00
Geoff, Christine, Nigel, Liz, Len and Rachel plus Les popped in and took away homework.
Turned her over with help from the staff and did a really hard 4 hours sanding to get the first half of the inside done. Special mention to Christine and Len who worked flat out and got the bow and stern sections completed on both sides, and to Liz who tirelessly worked away by hand.

Session 6
Tues 22nd Dec 13.00 - 17.00
Geoff, Len, Steve, Ron, Cheryl, Nigel, Barry, Andrew,Liz and Rachel

With a huge workforce we got the inside sanding completed, hoovered out mountains of dust , turned her over and primed the outside. Steve and Cheryl rubbed down and painted the floorboards.
So on schedule for painting. Thanks to everyone!!!

Turned her over, hoovered for ages then painted and varnished all of the inside. Great teamwork ☺

Well done everyone, she looks beautiful again.

Having done a Gig in that very same shed I know it's hard work and always seems endless and so huge congrats to the die hards who were there regularly and saw it through.
