Hi Barry,
Yes please for me.
I’ll be bringing a friend as a guest too please - Simon Quinn.
He has a waver form and will bring it with him.
It’s his first time rowing in a long while, but should be ok as he used to race Dragon Boats.
He’ll be looking to join the club as well.
(He is 6ft 5ā€, so will need a little space!!)

Hope that’s all ok,
See you tomorrow.
Thanks, Matt

May I sign up as a twelfth rower to make 2 full complement boats - though I think the likelyhood of us getting out, with the present wind strength forecast for tomorrow, is low.

Lowest I can find is 17 mph on ā€œwindyā€, with the trusty ā€œ xcweatherā€ giving a F5 minimum, gusting F7.

Re: Saturday 24th January Row 1.00pm UPDATE FORECAST

In reply to this post by Barry Scott
Hi Barry,
I’m preempting this is going to be cancelled today, due to the high winds, and if I’m honest I don’t think it’s great weather for a newbie….i don’t want to put my mate off of rowing just yet!!
So we’re going to cancel out early, and make other arrangements.
Good luck if you do all go out, and be careful!!
Let’s hope to get better rowing weather soon!
Matt

The weather station Emsmet is currently showing 23 knots of wind gusting 28 and all the forecasts I have looked at about the same  sorry but that's too much for me so I'm not coming  what a pity
